ADHD Expert Consortium

An increasing number of people believe that it’s time the standard of care for ADHD improves

There is a gap that exists in ADHD care. ADHD is underdiagnosed in adults despite being one of the most treatable behavioral health conditions when accurately diagnosed.

In 2022, healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds came together to advocate for change. They share the common vision of standardizing ADHD care and improving education for clinicians and patients. Together, they formed the ADHD Expert Consortium.

The ADHD Expert Consortium’s consensus statement sets out a vision for the future of ADHD care. By signing, you can be a part of the change.

We invite you, clinicians and concerned citizens alike, to read the consensus statement and support our mission to improve the lives of people being evaluated and treated for ADHD.

We believe that ADHD must be viewed as a public health issue that produces significant impact on the health, quality of life, and economic state of the US population. If you agree, sign the consensus statement below.

Our mission

Impact policy

Our mission is to develop ADHD diagnosis and treatment guidelines in the US for adults. We also aim to expand and update existing processes for ADHD screening in children.

Using objective data

Objective data is an important addition to an ADHD diagnosis. We hope to make evidence-based, objective testing the standard of care for ADHD in children and adults.

Improve awareness of ADHD

Our aim is to improve education around mental health. It is crucial we de-stigmatize ADHD and reduce the existing inequality of medical residents and practitioners (pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, and primary care) in this field.

The ADHD expert consortium

In 2022, a group of experts in ADHD including psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists, developmental pediatricians, and patient advocates gathered to form the ADHD expert consortium.

Together, this group has developed a vision for the path forward using data such as our objective ADHD tests QbTest and QbCheck, addressing contemporary challenges in healthcare.
